Scots Men's Lacrosse notches first win of season 7-5 at Wilmington on Sunday

The Alma College Men's Lacrosse team notched their first win of the young 2012-13 season when they defeated Wilmington College (Ohio) 7-5 on Sunday afternoon. The win improved the Scots' record to 1-2 and the team will next host Milwaukee School of Engineering at Bahlke Field, beginning at 2:00 p.m.

We were able to control much of the early part of the game, however our compete level subsided a little towards the half," said Alma Head Coach Jason Levesque. "I am very proud of the resiliency our team showed today, battling through the adversity and gutting out a win.  The boys were rewarded for their hard work leading up to and during this trip.

"As a young and developing team, there were many lessons learned this week for us to move forward with.  We're all anxious to play at Bahlke next weekend in front of family and friends."
