The Alma College Women's Lacrosse team hosted Baldwin-Wallace University on Saturday afternoon for their annual Pink Day game to bring awareness to breast cancer. The Scots took control of the game early and ensured that the afternoon would be a success all the way around, beating the Yellow Jackets 19-3 at Bahlke Field.
With the victory, the Scots are now 7-1 on the season, while visiting Baldwin-Wallace fell to 1-2 in 2013.
Alma was dominant from the beginning of the game and jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the first nine minutes en route to a 14-0 halftime advantage. Nine different girls scored in the decisive frame as the Scots outshot the Yellow Jackets by a 22-12 margin.
