The two teams basically traded goals the rest of the frame and the Scots went into the break with a commanding lead of 11-4.

In the second half, Alma scored two of the first three goals and led 14-5 with 22:42 remaining in the contest as Gallihugh tallied both for the Scots. The Comets narrowed their deficit to 15-8 with 16:55 left, but Alma was not going to let them getting any closer.

The Scots had two goals by Fr. A Emalee Ousley (Rancho Murieta, CA/Pleasant Grove) to increase the lead to 17-8. Chou and Gallihugh then scored one and two respectively over the last 9:30 to close out the 20-10 margin of victory.
